New Facebook Groups: A How-To

On of the writers for MediaShift published a column about her experiences with Facebook groups. She works both in the journalism field and in the education field, so the piece examines how the new groups tool can be useful in both situations. While it doesn’t necessary apply to the journalism that goes out to consumers, this is an interesting piece because it shows how the social media feature can be helpful within the newsroom. And a healthy, efficient newsroom produces the best news.
